We’ve made it to November. The year is slipping away. I thought today would be a great day to do a fun reading goals chat.
My major goal that I wanted to complete was my Goodreads Challenge. I wanted to read 75 books. So far I’m at 69 books. Hopefully, soon I’ll be wrapping it up. Covid definitely helped out. I’ve had a good bit of extra time to read. Right now though I’ve hit a slump, but I’m slowly getting there.
I also wanted to complete The Modern Mrs. Darcy Challenge. Thankfully, I completed that in October. It’s always such a fun challenge. Check out my wrap up post here.
I haven’t met a lot of my other personal goals, but I’ll go into that more at the end of the year. It’s been a strange year, but I do feel like I’ve been productive. Have you met your goals?
What I’m Reading Right Now
I’ve finally started The Invisible Life of Addie Larue. So far, I like it. I hope it picks up a little more speed, but there’s definitely potential.
I’m not sure what’s next. I’m on a book buying ban, so it’s got to come from my actual tbr. The only problem is I really want to read some Stephen King. He’s one of my favorite authors, but it’s been a minute since I picked up anything of his. I think I want to start with The Body. It’s the source material for the movie Stand By Me, which is one of my favorites.
Now it’s your turn to chat. How are your goals going? What are you reading now? What are you reading next? I’d love to know. Leave a comment below. I love talking to you, guys! Hope you have a happy Friday!
